Refund policy
Returns
We have a return policy of 14 days since the delivery date otherwise stated on the product page on products exempted from the 14-day return (some products are non-refundable). Unfortunately, items that are past the 14-day return window are not eligible for return/exchange.
Additionally, any item deemed as a manufacturing defect that has passed the 14-day return window will be covered by our warranty policy and not eligible for a refund.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Items on sale or purchased with promotions such as site-wide sales (excluding items bought with the newsletter sign-up promotion)
- Earrings
- Personalized items (engravings, custom orders, etc.)
- Damaged items due to improper care/mishandling/packaging prior to transit
- Items shipped after the indicated return window
- Unauthorized returns
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at cs@midorijewelry.co.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded. This includes any items that were purchased with a discount code.
Cancellation
If you wish to cancel an order, please email cs@midorijewelry.co within 12 hours of placing the order. We cannot cancel orders once we process them.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at cs@midorijewelry.co. If you purchased an item in the wrong size or colour, please return the item and repurchase the same item in the correct size/colour.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
We highly recommend adding a tracking number to any return packages as we will not be responsible for any return packages that are lost during transit.
If you purchased with a free shipping option including our free standard or express shipping promotion, free standard shipping included in purchases over $100 USD, and free express shipping included with purchases over $350 USD, the original shipping fee incurred by Midori Jewelry will be deducted from the refundable amount. Please visit our shipping policy to view the shipping cost to each country.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
Rejected returns
If a returned item is rejected for refunds due to reasons such as being returned without authorization, damaged during transit, not in original packaging, it will be the customer's responsibility to repurchase the shipping label to have the returned item shipped back to the customer.
Insurance
Please note that any insurance add-on fees purchased at the checkout page is non-refundable.
