Although rare, there is a possibility that your package may be lost, damaged, or stolen during transit or after receiving the delivery confirmation.

Our shipping carrier provides insurance of up to 1500 Thai baht (approx. $40 USD) for standard shipping and 3000 Thai baht (approx. $90 USD) for express shipping (please refer to our website's conversion rate for accurate conversion). 

To ensure your package is fully protected against theft, damage, or loss—especially for items exceeding the limits of standard insurance coverage—Midori has teamed up with Route to offer comprehensive package protection. This additional safeguard is available for a nominal fee and can be easily selected during checkout. It's important to note that Midori cannot assume responsibility for loss, damage, or theft of packages valued beyond our shipping carrier's insurance cap if the Route protection package is not chosen at the time of your order.

Pricing

If your order value is less than $100 USD, Route charges $0.98 USD to have the value of your package protected. For order value over $100 USD, Route is calculated from 1.5%-5% of the cart total based on several factors (for example, if an order was $150 USD, then Route could be $2.25 USD).


Filing a claim with Route

Route provides a straightforward, self-service option for you to swiftly file a claim, enabling you to secure a refund or replacement with ease. For detailed guidance, kindly refer to their full policy. It is solely the responsibility of the customer to adhere to Route's policy and file any claim in a timely manner to receive reimbursement from Route.

Please see below a brief summary of Route Shipping Protection coverage policy:

Lost in Transit: Claim must be filed between 20 and 30 days from the last shipping update

Stolen (marked as delivered): claim must be filed between 5 and 15 days from when the order was marked delivered

Damaged: claim must be filed with photos of the damaged package and item, no later than 15 days from when the order was marked delivered
